Cookie & Analytics Policy

How SignalNXA uses essential browser storage and optional self-hosted analytics on the public website.

Effective date: July 11, 2026. Last updated: July 11, 2026. This policy should be reviewed by legal counsel as SignalNXA moves beyond Alpha.

Overview

SignalNXA is provided by ByteTek Technologies LLC, DBA ByteTek. This policy explains how the public SignalNXA marketing website uses essential browser storage and optional privacy-focused analytics.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies are small browser storage entries. Similar technologies include localStorage, sessionStorage, scripts, and server-side request logs. SignalNXA uses these technologies only for current website and platform operation, security, preferences, and optional analytics.

Essential Storage

Essential storage supports core website functions, security, theme preferences, and remembering your privacy choice. For example, the website may store a theme preference and the privacy preference described below.

Privacy Preference Storage

SignalNXA stores your marketing analytics choice in a first-party localStorage entry named signalnxa_privacy_preferences. It stores a version number, whether analytics is enabled, and the time the choice was updated. It does not store your name, email, IP address, fingerprint, or advertising identifier.

Optional Umami Analytics

The current SignalNXA marketing analytics implementation uses self-hosted Umami 2.19.0. The configured Umami tracker is cookie-free, and the tracking script is not loaded on the marketing website unless you accept analytics.

What Analytics Measures

When accepted, analytics may measure page paths without sensitive query values, page title, referrer, safe UTM campaign values, browser and operating system, device type, screen dimensions, approximate country or region, timestamps, anonymous session information, and approved event names such as marketing CTA clicks.

Accepting, Declining, and Withdrawing

You can accept analytics, decline analytics, or save a custom preference from the banner or the Privacy Choices link in the footer. Withdrawing analytics consent disables future marketing analytics events from your browser after the choice is saved.

Consent Expiration

The privacy preference is remembered for up to six months. We may ask again sooner if the consent policy version changes or the analytics implementation materially changes.

Infrastructure Cookies and Network Services

SignalNXA uses Cloudflare for DNS, proxy/CDN, TLS/security, traffic protection, and performance services. The current marketing website is not intentionally configured to set Cloudflare cookies during normal page views, but Cloudflare may process network and security information and may use security controls depending on configuration and threat conditions.

Policy Updates

If SignalNXA adds new analytics, advertising, personalization, or similar technologies, this policy will be updated and the consent version may change so visitors can review their choice again.
